Eggless Chocalate Cake Microwave Version


I had few guests during this weekend so I had prepared the following Eggless Cake in Microwave mode. Came out really nice so sharing it with you all.

7 Minutes Eggless Chocolate Cake –Microwave Version

Preparation Time: 20 min
Cooking Time: 7 min
Serves: 10

1 cup wheat flour
1/4 cup Coco powder (I used Cadbury)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup sugar (increase if want more sweet)
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla essence

For the Glaze

175 Gms cooking Dark Chocolate
3 tbsp. sugar
2tbsp milk
1 tsp. vanilla essence
2 tsp. water



Take a microwave safe bowl and grease it with butter or any oil and keep it aside. Sieve Wheat flour, baking powder and coco powder together and keep it aside. Mix it without forming any lumps.

Whisk together the oil and sugar for about 2- 3 minutes and then add in the milk and vanilla essence and whisk till the sugar dissolves completely.

Slowly incorporate the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk together without forming any lumps and lastly add the water and whisk together.

Empty the cake batter into the greased Microwave safe bowl and cook it in Microwave mode for 7 minutes and let it stand inside the oven for about 2-3 minutes after the beep.
Cool the cake completely and then cut the cake.

For the Glaze

Add the milk and chocolate and microwave high for a minute and take out whisk it properly. Add the remaining ingredients and whisk together and finally add the water and mix well.

Glaze the cake nicely. I liked my cake glazing in running consistency so made accordingly.
