Grilled Vegetables


How to make a kid to eat his meals is always a problem every parent. I do have a fussy eater at home and making him eat something is very difficult. The only thing he likes is Dosa of all varieties. But making him eat dosa every day isn't a good idea. So I tried the above dish and the result was he loved it and had extra servings!

Grilled Vegetables
(Mixed Veggies marinated in mixed spices & Grilled)

Preparation Time : 20 min (except marinating)
Grilling Time: 45 min (in 2 batches)
Serves: 4


3/4 cup cubed Paneer
3/4 cup bite size Capsicum
3/4 cup bite size Onion
3/4 cup length wise Carrot
3/4 cup bite size Tomato

For the Marination

1.5 cup of thick hung curd
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp ground pepper
salt per taste
1/4 tsp garam masala


take a vessel and add the curd and whisk it a bit. then add all the masala powders in it and mix it properly.
Add all the cut veggies to it and mix it properly so that the masala coats all the pieces. close the vessel and refrigerate it . (I usually cut and keep it in the morning and grill it in the evening so that it gives that extra punch).
I used my microwave for grilling and it took me 45 minutes in two batches.
Serve it with steamed rice, papad and pickle. 


  • You can substitute thick butter milk also for the marination tastes better with that tangyness.
  • I made this grill with lilttle watery content for my lilttle one.
