This post was pending in draft mode from last month. however i could not post it. This is one of the yummiest dish in the summer.
(Local variety mango marinated with jaggery, green chilli)

Goes well with: Steamed Rice & Curd
10- well riped mangoes
1- medium onion chopped
2 green chillies cut (vary according to spice level)
salt per taste
1/2 cup jaggery powdered
1 tsp oil
1 tsp musturd seeds
1/4 tsp hing/asfeotida
1 strand curry leaves
Wash and peel the skin of the mangoes and put it in a vessel saparetely. squeeze in the pulp lilttle bit. Mean while take the mango peel add lilttle water to it and squeeze out all the pulp and juice from it and put it with the peeled mango vesse.
To this add salt, powdered jaggery, chopped onion & green chillies. mix well and let it sit for another half hour or so. You can refrigarate it since we do not cook the dish. Just before serving add the seasoning.
Serve chilled with steamed rice & curd. relish it
